Technical Program Manager with aSecurity Clearance Location:
Greater Washington D.C
Area (Hybrid) At one of our incubation companies, we are building a product suite to supercharge cyber security analysts
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with an active US Government security clearance, you will be responsible for managing complex interdependencies and integration between multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders
You will act as the key interface between internal leadership and government customers, and you will be expected to exercise autonomy and judgement to drive customer success
Leveraging your excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills, you will identify and overcome obstacles; communicate expectations and delivery timelines; help prioritize resources; and work collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and Product Management (PM) leaders
While many of your primary responsibilities will revolve around government customers, you will also have responsibilities focused on private-sector customers
Early-stage startup experience is a plus
What You Will Do:
Provide project/program management and direction over a multidisciplinary team building a world-class product suite for government and private sector markets
Create project plans, set objectives, define deliverables, and establish timelines
Coordinate activities and manage interdependencies between different teams, ensure alignment, and facilitate communication to drive successful project execution
Manage government contracts to meet or exceed all contract deliverables, on time and on budget
Act as key interface for stakeholders and leadership internally
Work closely and collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and Design team members
Effectively balance near-term priorities with long-term goals, ensuring the tactical and the strategic are consistently aligned
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
5+ years' experience in engineering or product/program management
Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects in a US government context
Detailed understanding of software development processes, project management methodologies, and technical infrastructure
Be familiar with and able to discuss key cybersecurity concepts, including Zero Trust Architecture, Application Security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and Attack Surface Management
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup environment that requires every member of the team to wear multiple hats
Demonstrated exceptional critical thinking skills
Demonstrated exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong desire to protect national security interests
US Citizen with an active US Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
