    Description
    Genie Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a LTAC facility in Kansa City, KS

    Shift: 7A-7P


    Hourly Rate:
    $60


    Duties:

    • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
    • Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and IV administration
    • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients
    • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

    Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse license in KS
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
    • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
    • Proficient in medical records documentation and coding
    • Ability to provide critical care in emergency situations
    • Familiarity with medical imaging technology and interpretation
    • Experience in senior care or family planning is a plus
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
