• Provides exceptional customer service for incoming telephone calls.
• Verify insurance benefits.
• Obtain authorizations for office visits.
• Post patient payments to accounts.
• Collect past due balances on accounts.
• Research and resolve insurance issues.
• Handle confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
• Work independently and within a team.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Medical office collections experience preferred but not required.
• EMR experience a plus.
• Good phone voice with professional and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as, computer work stations, fax. machine, calculators, and copier.

• High School or Equivalent.
