    Here is what we are looking for.

    Position Summary:

    The Compliance Specialist II will be responsible for auditing the Apprenticeship Program to ensure compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in payroll data and take corrective action as necessary.
    • Review and correct craft and class assignments for employees to ensure compliance with project requirements.
    • Utilize LCP tracker software to audit and track labor compliance on projects, ensuring adherence to prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits.
    • Collaborate with payroll administrators and project managers to address and resolve payroll-related issues.
    • Assist in the setup and configuration of LCP tracker software, providing guidance and support to ensure effective audit integration.
    • Develop and implement audit procedures and best practices to streamline the auditing process and improve efficiency.
    • Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on certified payroll processes and labor compliance regulations.
    • Provide training and support to staff on audit procedures, payroll corrections, and LCP tracker usage.
    • Integrate apprentice tracking into LCP tracker, ensuring compliance with apprenticeship program requirements.
    • Collaborate with HR and training departments to gather apprentice data and input it into the LCP tracker system.
    • Monitor apprentice progress and ensure accurate reporting within the LCP tracker.
    • Provide guidance on integrating apprentice tracking features into existing LCP tracker workflows.
    • Stay updated on apprentice program regulations and requirements to ensure compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
    • Extensive experience in auditing payroll records and correcting discrepancies.
    • In-depth knowledge of certified payroll processes and prevailing wage laws.
    • Proficiency in using payroll software and LCP tracker systems for auditing purposes.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

    • $75,000 - $92,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
