    Job Description Journeyman Operator - LIMA L2- Arabic - Yemeni (AU) Augusta, GA LIS is seeking qualified candidates that are looking for a challenge and interested in working in a team environment
    This position is on a future contract and the majority of the work is rotating shifts in 90-day cycles
    Candidates must be willing to work shift work and work in the Augusta, GA area

    Description:
    The Journeyman Operator shall perform 24/7 operational support to the government by performing tasks required to search, detect, identify, intercept, and locate signals of interest and process voice in support of operations
    In addition to producing geolocations, the JO-LIMA provides summary translations of target transmissions
    The JO-LIMA mentors less experienced Operators in order to enhance and reinforce the Contract Training Program and Operational TTPs

    Required Experience:
    DoD Client JBOC Course DoD Client PGO Certification TS/SCI clearance w CI Poly The JO-LIMA must possess the following language analyst qualifications: 1
    Performance at skill level 2 in audio translation (per the ILR Audio Translation skill level descriptions) from the required language(s) into idiomatic, standard American English

    Equivalent of four (4) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience
    Equivalent of four (4) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience

    Performance of the following tasks constitutes acceptable cryptologic language processing experience:

    Within Cryptologic Operations:
    scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials; recovering essential elements of information; producing and performing quality control of GISTs, translations and transcripts; compiling and updating operational working aids and databases; and drafting intelligence reports

    Performance of the following tasks constitutes acceptable related language experience: oral interpretation (from the required language into English and vice versa); written translation (from the required language into English and vice versa); audio translation (from the required language into English); audio transcription in the required language; document exploitation that involves gisting/translation (from the required language into English); and teaching the required language
    c
    Performance of following tasks constitutes acceptable related cryptologic experience:

    Within Cryptologic Operations:
    target development; network analysis; speaker identification; language identification; and document exploitation that involves sorting/categorizing/language identification.
