As a School Nurse you will:Be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, administering, documenting, and evaluating student nursing care geared to emotionally disturbed and/or autistic children and adolescents, in accordance with Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.)
and team treatment planAdminister medical treatment as prescribedTeach and provide psychosocial support for studentsAdminister influenza shots and provides other employee health nursing services to school staff as neededAssist teaching/classroom staff as neededRequires:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously throughout tenure (or must have license by time of hire).At least 1 year of related experience working with children or adolescents.

Previous experience in a school setting and/or with individuals with primarily emotional and behavioral disabilities and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) strongly preferred.

AHA CPR required before first day of employment
