The primary responsibility of the EMT or Paramedic is to respond to 911, Emergency transfers, and nonAs an employee dealing mostly with emergencies, you must be physically and mentally, committed and focused.
To be effective in the job, the ideal EMT or Paramedic must be very competent and knowledgeable as well as self-motivated, self-aware, and compassionate.

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire dateRequirements:7:00 am to 7:00 am - 24 Hour Shift The shift rotation for this position is 24 hrs on-shift and 72 hrs off-shift.
Rotating Weekend ScheduleRequired qualifications include CPR, State of Indiana EMT-Basic or higher certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), High school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.
Preferred qualifications include National Registry, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), S.T.A.B.L.E., and any other advanced certification that relates to the EMS field.
