    Ramboll is looking for an experienced and collaborative Market Manager who can build strategic business partnerships and deliver high profile projects with municipal clients in Northeast and other geographies.

    As a market manager, you will need to understand client organizations and processes, develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, and work to develop water opportunities for Ramboll.

    You will join our Water Treatment group

    As our new Market Manager, you will be part of a team dedicated to working with municipalities and utilities to deliver a wide range of water-related projects, from preliminary studies through design and construction.

    The candidate will be joining a highly successful team providing water infrastructure and treatment solutions in the Northeast, which include planning, design and construction of water/wastewater treatment, conveyance systems, and sustainable one-water solutions.

    Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

    Contribute to the development of a regional Water Market Strategy that delivers leading-edge technology and sustainable solutions for our clients while also actively diversifying and expanding our client base.

    Direct engagement with new and existing clients focusing on the development and expansion of our client base in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

    Develop account plans and client strategies and track activity via Ramboll's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
    Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects, for multiple local clients, of medium to large sizes with a moderate to complex nature
    Manage teams, budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
    Contribute and lead teams that prepare proposals and interview materials and negotiate contracts with clients after selection
    Identify teaming partners and sub-consultants for services on projects
    Participate in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers and participation in committee within local or national professional societies of strategic importance
    Identify needs for recruitment of new employees and participates in selection process
    Minimal travel when requested.
    Your starting point for constant growth

    Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the planning, design and construction of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, water transmission/distribution projects, pipeline rehabilitation projects, and pump stations.

    Expertise in drinking water quality and advanced water treatment processes is essential
    B.S. Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
    Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations
    Demonstrated success with client service and business development with strong existing client relationships.

    Attributes that include excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach.

    Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in the creation and procurement of new and repeat consulting work.

    Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams.
    Demonstrated experience with project management

    Ideally, the candidate will have:
    Bachelor of Science degree in in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
    More than 20 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater engineering.
    Experience with advanced treatment systems including membranes, ion exchange and advanced oxidation processes.
    Experience with design management.
    Experience with alternative delivery models and program management.
    Strong leadership abilities and experience managing diverse and remote teams.
