    Insight Global is seeking a GIS Analyst in Kansas City, Kansas.

    This role involves managing the Electric Operations GIS, geodatabases, and related systems, conducting data analysis, and creating graphical representations of GIS data.

    Youll handle requests for maps and data, transfer information between ArcGIS Services and other platforms, and provide training and support to GIS users.

    Youll also ensure the utilitys GIS needs are met, perform quality control of GIS data, oversee field audits, and coordinate with IT for system maintenance.

    Leading GIS projects and other related duties are also part of the role.

    Previous electric utility experience
    Bachelors degree in GIS, Engineering, etc
    Proficiency in geographical information systems, geodatabases, cartographic design, and drafting principles is required.
    GIS Analyst I: 0-2 years of experience
    GIS Analyst II: 3-6 years of experience
    GIS Analyst


    III:
    7+ years of experience

    Extensive knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software package, Milsoft Outage Management System, Autodesk AutoCAD software, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle Client, and Microsoft Office is required.

    Ability to make complex mathematical calculations and solve technical problems.
    The ability to identify complex problems and review related information to evaluate options and implement solutions.
    Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license as required by the State of Kansas for vehicle(s) operated.
