Are you enthusiastic about aiding individuals in overcoming communication obstacles? Soliant is currently looking for a proficient and committed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to become a part of our team in a school-based environment.
As an SLPA, you will collaborate closely with licensed speech-language pathologists to provide top-notch speech and language therapy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to execute treatment plans and interventions for students dealing with communication disorders.
Assist in administering assessments and screenings to identify speech and language challenges.
Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions for students, incorporating various therapy techniques and activities.
Monitor and adjust therapy plans as needed, based on client progress and feedback from the supervising speech-language pathologist.
Support in the utilization and upkeep of specialized therapy equipment and materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
Successful completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
Possession of a valid SLPA license or certification (if required in your state).
Solid knowledge of speech and language development, along with familiarity with common speech and language disorders.
