    Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Stepdown position requiring a GA or compact license and at least 18 months of recent experience.

    Details

    Position is in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Stepdown setting within a hospital
    Care is provided to stepdown-level patients requiring cardiac and telemetry monitoring
    12-hour night shifts are required
    No on-call responsibilities
    Assignment length is 13 weeks
    Requirements

    Active GA or compact RN license in hand
    Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required
    Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
    Former staff must have been separated from Emory and Houston health systems for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
    Additional Information

    Strict rules apply for requested time off: a maximum of five days if not during a holiday period and three days if during or near a holiday
    Only one holiday time-off request will be approved per assignment
    Time-off requests spanning multiple consecutive holidays will not be approved
    Travelers can only submit to one position at a time within this health system

    American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
