    We are seeking a skilled Transmission Line Engineer to join our team at JCSI. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing transmission line systems to ensure their reliability and effectiveness.

    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the success of our company. You will be responsible for designing and analyzing transmission line systems, developing technical specifications and drawings, performing calculations and simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and analyze transmission line systems to meet project requirements and industry standards
    • Develop technical specifications and drawings for transmission line projects
    • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure system reliability and optimal performance
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the feasibility and efficiency of transmission line installations

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of transmission design engineering experience
    • Experience in the power utility field
    • Proficiency with PLS software suite; PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE and PLS-TOWER
    • PE license a plus
    • Experience with high and medium voltage
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
