    Job Summary:

    Woodland Heights Medical Center Labor & Delivery is now hiring a PRN Registered Nurse to work in our thriving 149-bed acute care hospital.

    Our L&D department currently has 7 L&D rooms, plus triage rooms.


    Responsibilities:
    • Deliver high-quality patient care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
    • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

    Requirements:
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing/ Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification
    • Familiarity with various field concepts, practices, and procedures
    • 1 year of experience in L&D preferred
