    Home Warranty Maintenance Technician Are you experienced in new home construction with a passion for customer service? If so, we want to hear from you We're looking for a reliable Warranty Technician to manage the completion of warranty work for our new homeowners.

    As a Warranty Technician, you will oversee the execution of approved warranty work, manage homeowner relationships, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.

    • Project a caring attitude towards customers and colleagues through all communication channels.
    • Supervise subcontractors performing warranty work.
    • Efficiently coordinate the scheduling of all customer service work after diagnosing necessary actions.
    • Tactfully handle and negotiate challenging service requests.
    • Regularly assess and contribute to revisions of the current warranty program to enhance company image.
    • Assist in the coordination of warranty claims and repairs with suppliers and contractors.



    You will be measured on:


    • Timeliness of warranty reports required by management.
    • Average work orders per home under warranty.
    • Average length of time open work orders have been open.
    • Warranty budget adherence.
    • Timeliness of any assigned employee growth reviews

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a valid Driver's License.
    • Combination of at least 2 years of customer service experience and 1 year maintenance/construction experience.
    • Background in the construction industry.
    • Proficiency using technology in the field.
    • Ability to perform and train others on service issues, including common problem diagnosis and basic construction repair techniques.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
    • Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, and email to ensure the customer's needs are at the forefront of every interaction.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred

    Compensation:
    $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
