    Description
    ECC is seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. We will consider all candidates living in the United States, preferrably near an ECC office.

    The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring high-quality data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.

    Reporting to the Corporate Data Manager, the Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various data initiatives and projects.

    Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data analytics and reporting needs.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data needs, and develop solutions to meet business objectives.
    Implement data integration processes to ingest, clean, transform, and store data from various sources into data lakes and warehouses.
    Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
    Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, processes, and infrastructure.
    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and reliability.
    Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and data management.
    In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position

    Requirements

    Experience with DataOps Platform, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
    Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.
    Experience with natural language query (NLQ) projects is a plus.
    Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
    Familiarity with data platform technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka.
    Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
    Strong programming skills in Python for data processing, automation, and scripting.
    Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling.
    Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Education:
    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    ECC targeted salary range is $74,000 to $89,000 annually.
    Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
