The Atlanta Botanical Garden offers a Raiford horticultural internship to one qualified student each summer. The intern will gain practical experience in horticulture at one of the top botanical gardens in the United States. Key Responsibilities include maintenance of trees shrubs perennials and annuals; propagation greenhouse production tropical and desert plant culture plant identification and accessioning Work Schedule is a 12 week period with a 40 hour work week Compensation is $1500 course credit may be arranged Student must provide their own housing and transportation Requirements include being open to students actively seeking or recently graduated with an A S or B S degree in Horticulture landscape architecture or botany related fields having highly organized skills exceptional written verbal communication skills etc To Apply submit your resume cover letter describing past work experience career goals application No phone calls please Relocation is not available ABG Core Values include Conservation Excellence Inspiration Integrity Respect
