• Core Duties:
  • Use a barcode scanner and picking ticket to verify and organize merchandise accurately.
  • Operate order picker lifts, stack, and wrap merchandise on pallets securely and orderly.
  • Check for and remove damaged or dirty merchandise from the loading area.
• Support Functions:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area according to department guidelines.
  • Perform hand stacking of merchandise and operate warehouse equipment using full range peripheral vision.
• Interpersonal Engagement:
  • Work closely with the Shipping Supervisor and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
• Technical and Administrative Tasks:
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the shipping and receiving operations.
• Flexibility for Role-Specific Tasks:
  • Adapt to varying tasks as needed to meet daily operational goals.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Experience in warehouse and/or receiving settings; forklift operation experience required.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, and ability to maintain high performance standards.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 60 pounds or more, sometimes requiring team lifts.

• Efficiency: Ability to manage tasks quickly and accurately under time constraints.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in verifying merchandise and handling equipment.
• Physical Capability: Fit and able to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and operating machinery.
