- Foster a culture where safety is first priority and procedures and policies are followed
- Provide leadership, direction, training and administration of anyone assigned to their department
- Be responsible for the quality, production, safety, housekeeping and problem solving on a daily basis for your assigned areas. Will also be responsible for improving quality, safety, productivity and overall performance
- Operate in compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) Standards
- Must have high expectations for all employees and be consistent in all employee relation matters while not accepting poor performance in any area
- Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and discipline direct reports
- Must be certified or willing to be certified on different fork truck machinery used in warehouse and complete hazmat ground shipper certification within 1 year of starting position.
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate's Degree with minimum of 4 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years experience.
- Lean Yellow Belt Certification or will need to obtained
- Preferred Experience Includes: Lean, OSHA, SAP, BUS, SFD, Kronos, ISO.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to create and implement process improvement initiatives
- Attention to detail, time efficiency and utilization of manpower
- Understand manufacturing concepts, processes and Flex Flow and Lean concepts
- Must be willing to attend leadership and continuing education classes
- Candidates must already have a work Authorization that would permit to work for ABB in the US

In this role, you will be in charge of ensuring that warehousing operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a key position in the Motion NEMA Motors Division team.
