    Shop Vac USA, LLC, located in Williamsport, PA, is home to the Shop Vac brand and is the worlds leader in heavy-duty vacuums for consumer, commercial and industrial applications, and pioneered the first in-vehicle vacuum system. Best known for its wet/dry vacs, the company also manufactures motors, fans, blowers, trash cans and mop buckets. Shop Vac USA, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of GreatStar Tools USA whose other operating companies include Arrow Fastener Co., LLC & Prime-Line Products.

    **Jr. Buyer**

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone to demonstrate their leadership skills in a fast paced, manufacturing environment. If you are a highly motivated team player who can think out of the box and thrives on a challenge consider this special opportunity.

    This position reports to the Sr. Buyer, the Jr. Buyer will be responsible for analyzing and purchasing to manufacturer material requirement plans and forecast for a variety of commodities to support the manufacturing floor and all other business units.

    **Responsibilities:**

    Analysis MRP Plan to procure the correct material to the required production dates

    Manage Inventory levels

    Accuracy of PO pricing, dates and quantities

    Interface with all of the business units

    Develop new suppliers injunction with engineering

    Ensure on time delivery from your suppliers

    Expedite and escalate as required to meet a dynamic production schedule

    Be able to support Multi facilities

    **Requirements:**

    Must have strong computer skills & Organizational skills.

    Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

    Good negotiation skills

    Must be able to Multi task

    Must have experience in analyzing and procuring to a material requirement plan

    Experience in commodity buying

    Experience with AS 400 software platforms a plus

    1 3 yrs. experience in Purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
