    As a Fireplace Field Service Technician within the Hearth team, you will be responsible for post-installation activities to ensure the product is working according to specifications to meet customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities and Duties:

    ● Perform post-installation start-up activities to include: log placement per manufacturer's specifications, bleeding the gas line, clean up and inspection, and ensuring noncombustible clearances are met.

    ● Meet with the scheduling coordinator each day to understand the daily active jobs and to obtain details.

    ● Interact with the builder as needed to provide updates on needed repairs or changes, ensuring project meets timelines.

    ● Conduct thorough final punch review and make repairs as needed.

    ● Complete pre-closing final punch checklist and make repairs as needed.

    ● Conduct quality inspections for fireplace and other materials.

    ● Make site visits as requested to ensure requests are handled with timeliness and professionalism.

    ● Perform homeowner warranty service in occupied homes, as directed.

    ● Pick up and deliver materials to the site if needed.

    ● Communicate clearly, timely, and effectively.

    ● Provide detailed notes and photos supporting completed work or issues, uploading to the designated platform, and provide to the scheduling coordinator for any follow-up actions.

    ● Represent the company in a positive manner by addressing customers respectfully and professionally, ensuring appearance is neat and clean and vehicle is clean and tidy.

    ● Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    ● Prior experience with fireplace installation, construction, HVAC or remodeling environment, preferred

    ● Ability and willingness for continuous learning

    ● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a schedule and meet deadlines

    ● Proven experience completing tasks with high level of quality

    ● Strong communication skills with all levels of management including supervisors, managers, customers, and vendors

    ● Must have a valid Driver's License and meet MVR requirements

    Physical Requirements:

    Long periods of walking, bending, driving to work sites. Must be able to walk and maneuver around construction sites. Will work inside/outside and be subject to a variety of weather. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule: 8-hour days aligned with active projects schedules.

    Must have reliable transportation to ensure you are able to get to and from work each day on time.
