Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis North / Brooklyn CenterEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAble to work Weekends & PM Shifts as requiredPerforms preventative maintenance duties in guest rooms and all other areas of the hotelResponds to reported problems and issues and performs general repairsAssists with maintaining the pool area according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot Performs building and equipment preventative maintenance duties Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiencyEnsures all maintenance areas and equipment are clean, organized and securedMaintains basic knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operationMaintains operational knowledge of common power and hand toolsPerforms additional responsibilities as assigned by leadershipQualificationsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalismConduct work-related functions in a professional manner Ability to work independently and task focused
