    Your Role at Baxter

    Analyses suggest improvements and coordinates a variety of processes which may include warehousing, inventory management, capacity planning, material planning and new product introductions.

    Formulate and develop new or modified solutions to business issues affecting the supply chain function. Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems. Track KPI's and report on supply chain's performance.
    What you'll be doing
    Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data.

    Regularly generate reports and track KPIs in order to analyze actual performance versus targeted performance.

    Analyze data to identify problematic areas and serve as a consultant and implement process improvements.

    Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-inventory management, capacity planning, material planning and new product introductions)

    Help foster trusting relationships with business partners.

    Identifies and develops systems and/or applications in conjunction with IT to aid in the reporting and processing of data.

    May have responsibility for inventory control procedures.


    Support and back-up other buying positions as needed to foster a group/team effort and provide consultation to groups supported to ensure minimal business risks.

    What you'll bring
    Bachelor's degree and 2 years relevant professional experience.

    C.P.M. and/or CPIM certification preferred.

    Project management experience desirable.

    Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry background desire

    Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting.

    Familiarity with supply chain processes

    Analytical mind with business acumen

    Ability to operate in the complex, matrixed environment.

    Requires strong leadership and teamwork skills

    Project management experience and strong organizational skills

    Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ERP and planning systems

    At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

    The estimated base salary for this position is $76,000 - $104,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position.

    We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.

    Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus.
