    Job Title:

    A Healthcare Provider Position.

    We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional to contribute to the provision of high-quality, cost-effective patient care as a competent member of our healthcare team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Clinical Decision Making/Judgment:
      • Demonstrates clinical nursing knowledge and skill in providing care for culturally diverse patients and families.
      • Applies the nursing process effectively to assess patient needs, develop individualized plans of care, and implement evidence-based interventions.
      • Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of care plans and makes revisions based on patient responses to interventions.
    2. Nurse-Patient Family Relationships:
      • Assesses patient learning needs, readiness to learn, and presence of barriers to learning.
      • Develops, implements, and evaluates teaching plans for patient populations.
      • Provides direct patient care in a culturally, developmentally, and ethically appropriate manner.
    3. Clinical Scholarship:
      • Participates in quality improvement, risk management, and education activities at the unit, department, or organizational level.
      • Supports the use of evidence-based guidelines and policies to promote safe patient care.
    4. Clinical Leadership:
      • Participates in unit shared governance and education of new staff members.
      • Delegates patient care activities and evaluates outcomes.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

    Licenses and Certifications:

    • Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
    • Adherence to credentialing requirements of AAMC.
    • American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Providers.
    • Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
