    Description

    Medix is hiring Registered Nurses to work with a community health group in Lynn, Massachusetts. There are openings for Primary Care RNs and OB RNs.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Triage patients by telephone or in person to determine urgency and level of care needed, assuring appropriate care disposition.
    • Utilize Provider written orders or Standing Orders for administering and/or refilling medications, as required by the Medication Safety Policies.
    • Administer vaccines in accordance with written medical order/ standing order and in accordance with Medication Safety Policies and current CDC/MDPH Immunization Guidelines.
    • Communicate pertinent abnormal test results to provider. Track patients for necessary follow up documenting appropriately.
    • Utilize those skills to interact with patients/clients, team members and staff from other departments.

    Job Requirements:

    • BSN and MA RN license
    • BLS Certification
    • Epic, preferred not required
    • Outpatient experience, preferred not required

    Schedule:

    OB RNs: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

    Primary Care RN: Choice of 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts
