- Formulate behavioral objectives for the coming season and communicate to students.
- Have understanding knowledge of rules and regulations and keep abreast of rule changes.
- Implement proper procedures for out-of season practices and camps, according to the WHSAA and Campbell County Activities regulations.
- Attend all District workshops.
- Follow all Campbell County School District rules and regulations.
- Responsible for scheduling activities and ensuring students are informed.
- Explain all regulations of Campbell County School District concerning the Activity Code through the use of the Student Activity Handbook.
- Clarify to the students the Award Policy.
- Prepares and implements a schedule of checking out, maintaining, and checking in equipment.
- Implement activity policies and procedures as outlined in the Handbook for Coaches.
- Provide information for transportation, officials and event management.
- Carefully follow the procedure of initiating purchase orders.
- Assume supervisory control over all phases of students in his/her specific coaching assignment.
- Assume responsibility for the control of the students on the bus.
- Modeling and supporting ethical participation in all phases of the activity.
- Ability to receive, understand and follow directions.
- Submit recommendations for next year's season or practice schedule.
- Maintain records of team and individual accomplishments.
