    Qualifications

    Required Skills And Qualifications

    • 4+ years of experience in Technical Business Analyst, Program Management, Program Management, or similar experience in a Technology Function.
    • 1+ years of experience in either AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • A demonstrated passion for technology, with an ability to engage in complex discussions thoughtfully and articulately across varying levels of technical expertise.
    • A desire to learn new technologies, understand how they work, and provide guidance into how they can fit within Annalect.
    • Strong financial acumen, including experience monitoring costs/budgets in a cloud environment.
    • Attention to detail, a 'no-challenge-too-big' mentality, and immaculate organization and documentation skills.

    Additional Skills (Nice to have one or more of these)

    • Coding experience, such as Python or SQL.
    • Relevant certifications such as: FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Cloud Practitioner, GCP Cloud Digital Leader, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
    • Experience with cloud cost forecasting or optimization methods.
    • Experience working with a globally distributed team.
    • Experience in Media, Advertising, Marketing, or a similar industry to Annalect/Omnicom.

    Responsibilities

    Position Overview:

    Annalect is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our technology team. The Technical Business Analyst is accountable for maintaining a deep understanding of our development and engineering roadmap, monitoring costs and infrastructure budgets, and ensuring cross-team alignment across technology, finance, product, and other stakeholders within the organization. Furthermore, this individual will play a key role in cloud cost estimations, optimizations, forecasting, reporting, and maintenance and advancements in Annalect's FinOps practices.

    This individual must have a proven track record of thorough documentation and project management skills working with technical teams. This is a hands-on position that requires strategic and creative thinking to provide expertise across the entire infrastructure and operational lifecycle, ensuring the technology team's success as it relates to FinOps.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain a deep understanding of Technology's roadmap, priorities, and ongoing projects to:
    • Monitor organizational costs and provide alignment to various teams, particularly with Annalect Finance.
    • Investigate and analyze usage to provide guidance on multi-cloud cost optimization methods, anomalies, trends, and budgets.
    • Create simplified forecast models based on complex infrastructure plans covering multiple cloud services.
    • Create and maintain top-notch documentation of budgets, anomalies, forecasts, and other FinOps practices.
    • Act as the point of contact across internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to enable the Technology team to focus on the delivery of our roadmap

    Technical Guidance

    • Directly works with the DevOps, Engineering, and Product teams maintaining budgetary alignment, with an understanding of all technology infrastructure and operational development activities.
    • Provide expertise for new development and projects to align with Annalect's best practices.
    • Maintain effective multi-cloud reports and dashboards using various tools.
    • Enable transparency across various teams by establishing and automating cost allocation reports.
    • Work within and drive a high-level technical cost optimization strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.

    Compensation Range: $60,000 to $80,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
