Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Manage a team of engineers and planners with diverse skill sets
Responsible for executing effective incorporation of change into a production environment while maintaining impeccable configuration control
Lead the development of new processes and changes in existing processes
Improve product quality and enable on takt production
Engage in whether the product can be produced, the quality of the product and the related processes
Manage the schedule of complex, competing priorities and report on realization to senior management
Coach and develop the team through effective mentoring
Qualifications
Requirements:
A full spectrum leader with demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of executive, middle and first-line management, industry peers, and internal and external customers
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, cost, quality, and schedules
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or other related course of study
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Aircraft or Aerospace Manufacturing environment
Experience managing 12+ direct reports
Knowledge of IE tools used in production i
e:
capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements
Experience with CATIA/ENOVIA/3dexperience
Microsoft Office - advanced skill level
SAP - advanced knowledge and skillset
Strong technical, people and organizational background with a proven history of leadership
Experience establishing partnerships and relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports and conveying organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of workgroup, project, or process goals
Experience in identifying opportunities to improve work-related products and processes within own workgroup, project or process and engaging and empowering employees to make process improvements
Proven ability to be the liaison between the production floor and engineering team
