Description

Spherion Staffing Reno, NV is recruiting for a direct hire opportunity for inventory specialist for manufacturer of hosing related products in Sparks, NV.

$18 per hour, M-F, 8am-5pm. Some nights and weekends required.
Benefits begin after 30 days

Responsibilities:
Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
Maintain product identification and location program.
Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.
Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt
audits/reconciliations.
Track and report non-conforming product.
Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
Document damaged product.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as part of the job function.
Must be able to pass the forklift certification test and drive a forklift on a daily basis.
Must be computer literate.
Have strong verbal and written skills
Must be detailed oriented.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment

Ability to routinely lift/move up to 50 pounds
Ability to maintain a moderate level of visual attention and mental concentration for

significant periods of time as required.

Ability to operate necessary office equipment, computer software, hardware and

equipment at a high level.

Ability to perform the following physical activities: fine manipulating with hands, talking,

hearing and repetitive motions.

Education:
High School

Experience:

4-7 years

Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent for this position.
Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years.
Recent experience with Cycle counting/inventory .
Must be certified to operate forklift/reach truck at current or previous company.
Must be computer literate and have experience in any WMS.
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while
keeping correct data
