    Syracuse, New York, Anesthesiology Opening


    Clinical Role:
    Seeking a physician Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine
    ACLS, PALS, AND BLS- Required
    DEA - Required
    Covid vaccine - Required
    Permanent position opportunity


    Practice setting:
    Hospital


    Trauma Level/Designation:
    Level II
    ~15 Main ORs, 4 ASC
    ~ Patient Demographics:
    Minimal pediatrics, mostly at ASC Adult, Geriatric, and 16+
    ~ Case types:
    Vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and cardiac

    ~ Responsibilities include:

    ~ coverage in the hospital operating rooms, endoscopy unit, cardiac lab, and ambulatory surgery center
    ~ Supervision of CRNAs

    ~


    EMR:
    Epic
    ~ Scrub techs, RN circulators, Anesthesia techs on site

    ~ Schedule:

    ~ Full time, 2100 hours annually
    ~1 weekend per month
    ~3 in house overnight calls every 2 months
    ~4 second calls every 2 months

    ~ Organization:

    ~$575,000 for call-taking position
    ~$25,000 additional stipend for Cardiac Anesthesia
    ~$125,000 sign-on bonus
    ~ Retention stipend for the first 2 years
    ~ Premium Pay and Excess Call Pay available

    ~ Paid malpractice, including post-employment tail coverage
    ~ CME time & expense allowance
    ~10 weeks paid time away from the practice
