    Job Description:


    We are looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial, and extremely driven individual that will act as head of product/platform and lead a team to push the direction of Biz Scout.

    With the support and guidance of our core exec team, you will be responsible for the plan, strategy, build, marketing, launch, tech, and ongoing leadership of the company.

    In parallel, you will execute, prioritize and write full tickets for each sprint.

    You will be joining a lean team with a flat structure and collaborate with engineering, design, operations and the growth teams.

    We are looking for a candidate with a pre existing track record of success in scaling companies from 6-figures to 8 figures who is familiar with the dynamics of a fast growing start up specifically in the marketplace or platform space.

    Having a real estate, fintech, or small business background is a plus.


    Responsibilities :


    Own the product/platform function end-to-endTranslate vision into an actionable strategy and build a product roadmapCollaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders (both internal and external) to solve organizational problems; brainstorm and problem solve to come up with lean solutions quicklyUse analytics and user research to drive feature development and iterate on MVPs; translate raw data into actionable insights that influence decision-makingPrioritize, spec and write tickets for all stakeholder requests and OKR-driven features.

    Looking for high-quality & engineer-ready tickets with relevant context and full acceptance criteriaOvertime manage a designer and continue to manage the product org as the team grows; act as an advocate for the product orgTake total ownership of the product and delegate accordinglyCreate, manage, and execute the business planDevelop new strategies for increasing user growth and building out capabilityCollaborate with the social media team on ideas for new campaignsWork with the creative team to produce eye-catching designs on the web & social media

    Team Management:
    Build and lead a high-performance executive team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration

    Financial Stewardship:
    Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable growthInnovation: Drive innovation by staying at the forefront of technological advancements and industry best practices

    Risk Management:
    Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standardsQualifications:5+ years of experience in product, tech or marketplace (Director level and above)


    Prior experience in 2-sided marketplaces building products or leading teams for both B2B and B2CAbility to rapidly analyze, iterate, and executeA self-starter with a lean mindset and prior experience in early-stage startup that thrives in a fast-paced environmentYou have a point of view on tech stack and are comfortable using tools such as Jira, Typeform, Circle, Stripe, Acuity, Zoom, etc.

    Experience with optimizing/designing product for growth and scalabilityExperience with making data-driven decisions and using data tools such as Tableau or ExcelExperience in developing profitable strategies and implementing visionStrong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principlesFamiliarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.

    Analytical abilities and problem-solving skillsDeep knowledge of tech trends, markets, and emerging technologiesExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.
