    General Summary:
    The EHS Supervisor is responsible for providing EHS support to plant management, administration, superintendents, foremen, and front-line production workers.

    They provide guidance and coordination of day-to-day implementation, oversight and decisions to ensure EHS regulatory and internal program performance expectations is met while fostering Clark Pacifics core values.


    Roles and Responsibilities:
    Effectively supervise EHS Specialists in their day-to-day activities, set goals and objectives, and long-term development.

    Evaluate, interpret, and effectively communicate incident data and trends to affected stakeholders, and recommend and support corrective/preventative actions to enhance EHS performance.

    Educate employees, visitors, or other stakeholders regarding EHS policies, laws, and practices including EHS orientations, emergency response, lock out/tag out, hazardous communication, hazardous material, heat illness, silica exposure prevention, ergonomics and other training, as required.

    Ensure regular inspections are conducted to identify and correct hazardous workplace conditions and practices. Recommend corrective actions where EHS hazards exist.
    Conduct industrial and office ergonomic evaluations and provide solutions.
    Oversee and supervise environmental compliance including SWPPP, hazardous materials and waste requirements and recycling efforts.
    Partner with outside vendors, contractors and engineers regarding EHS matters to drive projects to completion from a proactive approach.
    Maintain active member status of Emergency Response Team.
    Coordinate personal protective equipment (PPE) programs (i.e., safety shoes, prescription safety glasses) in accordance with company policy.
    Other duties as assigned.


    Education and Experience:
    Minimum 2 years experience in Environmental Health and Safety role as an individual contributor is required.
    Minimum of 2 years total general manufacturing industry and/or construction experience preferred.

    Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, or related field or equivalent experience of minimum of 4 years is preferred.

    Safety and Environmental credentials (e.g., CSP, ASP, SMS, OHST, CHST, REM, QISP) are very desirable.
