- Assist with engineering and maintenance personnel to resolve system issues.
- Assist with purchasing duties to include initiating necessary purchasing documents, vendor contact, obtaining quotes and completing orders based on price, delivery, quality, and service
- Assist trouble shooting of both test and operational issues; assist with documentation of test results and preparation test status documentation.
- Assist with supplier changes in specifications, change orders, quantities, and adjustments.
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED.
- Requires 1 semester of completed college course work in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must have knowledge of and can fully utilize Purchasing procedures.
- Must be able to communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must have knowledge in procurement, supply chain, and material management processes.
- Familiarity with technical writing
- Experienced in MS Office
- Must possess an active driver's license
- Must be enrolled in school pursuing an education that is in-line with the company's structure
- Must bavailable to dedicate 20hrs/week minimum to the contract
- Must be familiar with SATCOM equipment and components
- Must be familiar S with a wide array of test equipment, such as network analyzers, signal analyzers and signal generators
- Must be familiar with procurement, supply chain, and material management processes.
