    Job Title:

    Quality Improvement Coordinator

    Summary:

    An exempt position responsible for coordinating quality management efforts, including development, implementation, education, data collection, and analysis. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to plan, design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive medical practice continuous quality improvement (CQI) program.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with the Quality Improvement Manager to develop and implement a CQI program that ensures compliance with internal and external quality standards.
    2. Meet with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues.
    3. Monitor medical practice efforts to ensure adherence to quality standards and prepare annual reports.
    4. Coordinate data collection and reporting to meet regulatory requirements, including patient satisfaction data.
    5. Evaluate variance and other data to identify quality opportunities and risk management issues.
    6. Monitor utilization and service quality through various metrics, including HEDIS quality measures and payer/provider/patient satisfaction surveys.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in health administration or a related field.
    • Minimum four years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least three years in quality management.
    • Current RN state license and CPR certification.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of CQI principles, practices, methods, and tools.
    • Proficiency in computer applications related to QI, including spreadsheets.
    • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and corrective actions.

    Salary:

    $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
