    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Document Validation Specialist position exists to index documents using various modules into Content Manager, performing post funding audits on funded deals, maintaining, and delivering original documents, and troubleshooting unidentified/missing loan processing mail.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Validates documents through the KOFAX Transformation Module including sales packages, all faxes and emails sent to the Origination teams, and the Retail Credit Bureau Report Authorization forms for the Retail department
    • Routes working documents to the appropriate Origination teams.
    • Maintains Investor documents during Origination process.
    • Maintains current knowledge of numerous document types and troubleshooting batches daily.
    • Audits sales post funding to ensure proper invoicing.
    • Communicates effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel.
    • Performs maintenance to all closing documents, including Investor documents, during the origination process.
    • Promotes company image through professional service and actions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
    • Knowledge of AS400/VIEW, LINK, OnBase, SharePoint, and the understanding of Right Fax a plus.
    • Ability to work flexible hours.
    • Knowledge of loan auditing, underwriting, or equivalent a plus.
    • Self-motivated, dependable, ability to prioritize, and multi-task.
    • Solid problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Detail-oriented.
    • Willing to learn and adopt change.
    • Support and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
    • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
    • 90% communication methods completed over the phone.
    • Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.
    • Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.
    • Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
