    POSITION SUMMARY

    Under general direction of the Director of Infrastructure, the Infrastructure Services Manager provides leadership and expertise on hardware, applications, operating systems, security, storage, networking, monitoring, resource management and cloud operations in support of the Information Technology department; and performs related duties as assigned.

    As a working manager this position requires a high level of technical skills to be able to perform the work of those supervised with a high level of verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and professionalism to achieve a cohesive and excellent teamwork environment. This position is also responsible for providing strong customer service to internal and external personnel.

    Sunrise IT is an active and dynamic environment with a lot of moving parts and complex interrelated systems and processes. This position leads the team that builds, manages & provides technical support of infrastructure systems.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Manages multiple projects; plans, staffs, prioritizes and manages all phases of planning and implementation.
    • Leads and participates in various project teams as needed to meet the organizations strategic objectives.
    • Build, monitor and maintain networks and information systems, both on premises and in the cloud.
    • Troubleshoot new and prevalent issues and improve efficiencies by leveraging existing technologies and recommending new technologies as needed.
    • Perform ongoing analysis and preventative maintenance on all networks and information systems.
    • Manage and monitor all backup and recovery related activities to support the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management program.
    • Support the Information Security and Privacy Program to maintain system threat and vulnerability risk tolerances.
    • Maintain Infrastructure procedures, and processes as necessary.
    • Manage an IT cost center including budgeting and forecasting, reviewing and approving Vendor invoices.
    • Analyzes business needs, develops and recommends plans/solutions for meeting the information system needs of the organization
    • Assists the Director of Infrastructure to facilitate developmental goals, standards, procedures and runbooks.
    KEY COLLABORATORS
    Security, architecture, Technology Service Center, application development, application operations, data engineering, and project management.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position manages the infrastructure team including the Network and Systems Engineers.

    Responsible for the hiring, performance management and development of this team.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
    • College Degree or Technical School certification in Information Systems or Technology preferred.
    • 7 years of related IT experience required.
    • 5 years of supervisor experience required.
    • Microsoft Azure infrastructure experience required
    • Cloud migration planning and execution experience beneficial
    • Experience in the financial industry preferred
    • Certified accreditation desired.
