- Perform radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators or other radiation equipment
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
- Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and report any issues to the oncologist
- Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
- Educate patients on treatment procedures and possible side effects
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Current certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in acute care or critical care settings preferred
- Familiarity with radiation therapy modalities including mammography and CT scans
