$75,000
- $130,000 per year A bit about us: Our client is a well-known mid-size law firm located in the heart of Boston's Financial District For more than 100 years, our client has provided high-quality legal advice that has earned them client loyalty and respect amongst their peers.
With a wide range of services provided, they represent national, international, and foreign companies, local and regional institutions, public entities and municipalities, closely held businesses, regulated industries, educational institutions, and individuals & families.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex, high-net-worth estates with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer estates, including complex and high-net-worth matters.
Draft and interpret estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and related filings.
Prepare and file probate court documents, estate tax returns, and accountings.
Collect, value, and transfer assets; fund marital and tax-exempt trusts.
Manage estate and trust accounts, including distributions, payments, and reconciliations.
Coordinate with accountants, advisors, and beneficiaries to ensure smooth administration.
Maintain accurate records, meet filing deadlines, and support attorneys throughout the process.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of five years' experience in estate administration, preferably within a law firm, bank, or trust company.
Strong knowledge of estate and tax processes; experience with state and federal estate tax returns.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with tax or accounting software (e.g., CCH Axcess) preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.
