    Job Description


    The Inpatient Surgery Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures in a fast-paced inpatient setting, specializing in post-operative care and pain management.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer pain medications and IV medications and drips.
    • Manage wound vacs and total parenteral nutrition (TPN).
    • Perform dressing changes and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI).
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments including Q4h vital signs, intake and output, and pain assessments.
    • Document care and patient progress using EPIC software.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    • Current BLS certification.
    • Valid nursing license.
    • Experience with a variety of post-operative care procedures preferred.
