    Description


    SummaryPer Se Group is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to oversee implementation and management of EHS standards and procedures at a 3X1 Combined Cycle Power Plant located on 161 acres in Washington County, Ohio.

    The technology utilized are 3 GE 7FA combustion turbines fitted with the advanced gas path upgrade. The generators are GE model 7FH2 units, the HRSGs are Nooter Erickson. Generated steam is converted to work by a GE D11 turbine, fitted with a GE 390H generator. The normal plant staffing model is twenty-nine employees.

    ResponsibilitiesPerform oversight and compliance for the implementation of all necessary federal and state environmental permit requirements, including development and preparation of reports to Federal and State, Municipal and local regulatory agencies and implementing procedures, guidance, and aids to facilitate compliance.

    Perform monthly EH&S AuditsDevelop, prepare, and maintain records & reports to Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies (Quarterly deviation, CEMS performance summary, eDMR, CEMS monthly recordkeeping, SWPP, SPCC).Coordinates air quality testingMaintain internal/external laboratory DMR-AQ programTier II reportingParticipate in job briefings, Plant Safety Meetings, and job observation program.

    Participate in accident/incident investigations, EH&S audits, regulatory inspections, and other components of the Environmental, Health and Safety System. Conduct incident investigations.

    Preferred Skills and ExpertiseBS in Engineering, Environmental Science or Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years experience Regulatory Field, preferably p ower plant setting .Knowledge of applicable federal, state, municipal and local environmental, safety and fire protection requirements relevant to the operation of a power plant.

    Experience in the use of software applications such as Excel, Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
    Ability to work independently and author technical reports, correspondence, and procedures.
    Strong analytical skills with a diligence and an investigative mindset.
    Must demonstrate the ability to digest large, complex volumes of information andAbility to travel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
