    WellSky's summer internship program is designed for talented college students looking to gain hands-on experience and make an impact. Our internship offers challenging work and gives you the chance to provide immediate value.

    You'll work with cutting edge technologies, sharpen your existing knowledge, and develop new skills while collaborating with teammates across our organization.

    Software Engineer Intern , you will assist in the design, development, documentation, and testing of our software programs.

    Each Software Engineer Intern will be aligned to a specific group and will become an integral part of that team during the summer.

    Additionally, you'll stay closely connected to the entire intern cohort through various events and summer experiences.

    Successful intern candidates possess strong communication, problem solving and analytic skillsOur internship program is located at WellSky's world headquarters in Overland Park, KS.

    Interns will enjoy a hybrid working schedule that enables frequent collaboration while providing flexibility.

    A day in the lifeResponsibilities Can Include:
    Writing and debugging code for business applications in the healthcare domain

    Researching, investigating, and fixing a wide range of technical issues and proactively learning new technologies to support our software applications

    Participating in the preparation of system requirements and design specifications

    Documenting requirements and testing new software applications

    Approaching problems and creating solutions in collaboration with senior leaders

    Do you have what it takes?

    Required Qualifications:
    Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

    Knowledge and demonstrated competency in several key languages, technologies and/or platforms used across WellSky technology teams including, but not limited to: JavaScript, C#, Ruby, Python, SQL, Java, Angular, PowerShell, Azure

    Do you stand above the rest?

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Currently a junior or senior-level student with two or less summers before graduation completion
