Positions Available
Cook
What You'll Do:
Prepare and cook appetizing, nutritious meals following diet orders and menus.
Ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and in the correct portions.
Oversee kitchen organization and cleanliness.
Work with Dietary Aides to serve meals efficiently in our dining areas.
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
Requirements:
Previous cooking experience required; long-term care experience is a plus.
Must be able to stand, walk, and safely handle kitchen tools and equipment.
Food Handler Certificate required (or willingness to obtain; facility assistance available).
Dietary Aide
What You'll Do:
Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating.
Serve meals to residents with warmth and professionalism.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving areas, and dining room.
Stock and organize food and supplies.
Support the Cook and dietary team in daily operations.
Requirements:
No formal experience required — we'll train the right person
Friendly attitude and ability to work well with residents and team members.
Food Handler Certificate required (or willingness to obtain; facility assistance available).
Wage & Benefits
Competitive pay
Cook Pay: $16–$16.50/hr with Food Handler Certification
Dietary Aide Pay: $15–$15.50/hr with Food Handler Certification
Full-time positions
$2.00/hr shift differential for working weekends
