    Description

    Join a dynamic hospital medicine program in Central Vermont, where collaboration and teamwork are key to delivering exceptional patient care. Our 15-strong team has been serving the community since 2000, working closely with outpatient care partners to meet the inpatient needs of our patients.

    Our Team

    • Four rounding physicians who work together to provide comprehensive care to an average daily census of 12-14 patients.
    • A daytime admitting provider consisting of one physician and one APP (Advanced Practice Provider), responsible for admissions from 11am-9pm.
    • A Nocturnist who provides overnight coverage from 7pm-7am, ensuring seamless continuity of care through day and night shifts.



      The practice employs a flexible scheduling system with four ten-hour shift options: morning rounds (7am-5pm) or afternoon admitting (11am-9pm). The total number of shifts per month is fourteen spread across twenty-eight days, allowing for two weeks' vacation time off.The ICU is closed for bedside procedures eliminating additional liability risks that usually come attached. This allows candidates coming out fresh graduate/Board Eligible internists or those Family Medicine looking forward entering this Hospital area be part new team
