This job is part time, requiring approx. 10 hours a week, 40 hours a month.
Position Summary:
The Director of Ethics & Compliance is responsible for leading the corporate business ethics and compliance program and partnering with business unit leads on an enterprise-wide basis to ensure company and employee compliance with business ethics laws and regulations, in all regions in which we conduct business.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and under direction of the Compliance Committee, this person works with limited supervision in planning, managing, and guiding the efforts of business unit personnel to ensure that the organization and its employees adhere to legal and ethical standards, promoting a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior while meeting the organization's various reporting requirements.
Develops corporate compliance roadmap (policies, procedures, and training programs) for implementation in business units. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations and contractual terms and conditions.Contributes to setting business unit goals and objectives and works with BU personnel in carrying out and measuring activities in support of these goals and objectives.

Have primary responsibility for monitoring and assuring business ethics and compliance requirements in areas including but not limited to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, anti-trust, gifts, entertainment and hospitality, third party screening, monitoring and onboarding, anti-money laundering, and organizational and individual conflict of interest.
As Lead of the Compliance Committee, ensure that the Compliance Committee fully executes all duties and responsibilities assigned to it under the Corporate Ethics & Legal Compliance Plan.
Utilize Corporate HR resources such as Paylocity, KnowBe4 and NAVEX to identify, deploy and maintain a repository of training courses and policies to assure periodic assignment, tracking and completion for employee awareness, understanding and accountability of their role in compliance.
Conduct internal audits to measure compliance and assist external auditors in performing regular assessments.Assist in the Risk Management process.
Research/procurement/creation/monitoring/improvement
of technology, systems, equipment & processes
Keep abreast of emerging trends, best practices and applicable laws, regulations and industry guidance that impact changing compliance requirements, and lead in the design and implementation of appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Develop, lead, staff, manage high performing teamAccountable for providing guidance and support to Department leads who are responsible for adjacent compliance requirements and risks such as but not limited to; insider trading, anti-money laundering, export control, insider threat, discrimination and harassment, health and safety, recordkeeping, confidentiality, NISPOM, government contracting, supply chain, political contributions, lobbying and environmental compliance.
Provide effective communication and reporting to all stakeholdersDevelop and communicate business ethics policies, procedures and processes that set expectations for exemplary ethical conduct to foster organization-wide culture of Integrity

Design, develop, prioritize, implement, manage and monitor Graham Corporation's Ethics & Legal Compliance Program to create strategies and practices that reduce the risk of unethical and illegal practices within the organization, provide full compliance with laws, regulations, and reporting, under a continuous improvement mindset.

With the Compliance Committee, report to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors at least annually regarding the state, activities, investigations, review and audits of the Compliance Program.

Professional Development
Attainment or retention of nationally recognized certification in ethics & compliance.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.
Education and Training
Bachelor's Degree in business management, law, finance, business administration or any other relevant field
Preferred:
Advanced degree such as CPA, MBA or JD. Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or other similar nationally recognized certification.
Experience:
10+ years of corporate ethics & compliance program development and execution.
Significant ethics, compliance and/or risk management experience in international industrial company, DoD agency or DoD contractor.
Preferred:
experience with US Export Controls, 32CFR/NISPOM, FCPA, FAR/DFAR
Other:
Must be willing to work overtime as required.
National travel may be required.
Travel up to 10% of working time.
Graham will consider remote work requirements for highly qualified candidates.
