Job summary
The Associate Global Sourcing Manager will support the Global Sourcing Manager with global sourcing teams' initiatives including product development process creation overseas supplier relations internal collaboration this position will fulfill day-to-day processes support merchandising initiatives drive gross profit dollars executing private label programs.Responsibilities
- Product Development/Sourcing: Learn to identify products that have potential to be directly sourced by Love's learn and develop specifications for products understand and help develop product assortments roadmap competitive matrix pricing structure li Overseas Supplier Communication communicate with overseas partners about current new products discuss lead times cost negotiation product creation li Internal Collaboration Work with merchandising team develop private label strategies inside of current product assortments Support global sourcing team on new marketing initiatives packaging branding signage etc Opportunity present new products roadmaps internal teams Item Creation Integrity Assist item creation including information pricing specifications into Love's systems Confirm verify coming from overseas partners li Experience And Qualifications HS Diploma equivalent required Bachelor Degree Business Management related field preferred Experience Logistics Supply Chain Product Development preferred Skills Physical Demands Hard skills Knowledge Microsoft Office SAP software would plus Soft skills Stable work history good oral verbal communications skills team player keen attention detail self-motivated ability work fast-paced environment strong analytical skills Requires prolonged sitting bending stooping Manual dexterity sufficient operate computer keyboard calculator normal range hearing vision Scheduling flexibility This position onsite at Love Corporate Office Oklahoma City Our Culture Loves fueling journeys since 1964 Headquartered Oklahoma City we operate 650+ locations 42 states across family companies We committed innovation inclusion belonging making positive impact communities serve Come see why Loves Travel Stops Country Stores recognized Indeed Better Work Award 2023.
