    Description
    Dietician (Inpatient) in Multiple Locations (Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, Providence Newberg Medical Center & Providence Milwaukie Hospital)

    Part-time, Day Shift Position


    The Dietitian uses clinical nutrition standards of care to assess patient nutritional needs; develops and implements sound eating plan to promote optimum nutrition intake and health maintenance.

    Teaches patients, family and care providers principles of the nutrition plan, counseling and supporting patients and clients as needed, taking into account individual patients' special physical or age-related needs.

    Assists with the development of ongoing nutrition education programs and literature.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
    * within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Oregon Dietitian License.
    * upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.
    * upon hire: CMFC ONLY- In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) background check is required for this position.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1 year Experience in clinical setting for generalist.
