This position will support quality practices to comply with FDA and applicable international regulations & ISO standards.
This position follows the Quality Assurance Department's objectives to increase product quality and implement continual improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
There will be specific tasks and long-term projects assigned for completion that will require appropriate documentation with periodic reporting to management.
Quality Assurance Techwould be able to do the following:Receive, inspect and create records of incoming raw materials and components
Issue accepted materials to production stocking areas
Inspect internal fabrication parts for audit / compliance requirements as needed
Respond to daily quality issues as they arise in manufacturing.
Manages Inspection / Calibration documents
Process rejected materials to MRB area per SOP-10 RTV / Scrap guidelines
Escalate quality issues when systemic issues are identified in the MRB process
Monitor and suggest improvement changes related to drawings, specifications and material requirements
Support internal non-conformances using root cause analysis and support containment and countermeasure implementation when applicable
Other project work as assigned
Quality Assurance Tech they must have:
The candidate must be detail minded and capable of using inspection-measuring equipment including micrometers, digital calipers, height gauges and other common inspection tools.
Associate Degree in the area of Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent job experience
Able to accumulate and analyze data to identify and resolve problems
Able to read engineering drawings
Certified Quality Inspector preferred
