    Vacancies will be filled in the following specialty areas:

    Large Business and International, Office of Program and Business Solutions, Business Systems Planning (BSP).

    The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.f this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

    • Develops new or modified procedures, goals and objectives and evaluation plans, procedures, and methodologies.
    • Defines new program operations in consideration of internal and external dynamics.
    • Manages multiple projects requiring coordination with multiple or complex internal organizations.
    • As needed, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating with other Business Units (BUs) servicewide to develop guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) relative to the function. Additionally, the incumbent will coordinate, when appropriate, with other units to develop individual sections of the Internal Revenue Manual (IRM).
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    This position has career progression. If you are selected at a grade level lower than the full working level, you may be non-competitively promoted as your career progresses. For example, you may be hired as a GS-05, but if the position has career progression to GS-11, then you may move from a GS-05 to a GS-11 in as little as three years.
