    Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is recruiting a division chief of pediatric rheumatology. The chief will lead the division's clinical and educational services while guiding our expanding pediatric rheumatology program.

    The $100 million Johns Hopkins All Children's Research and Education Building is home to our institutes, grant-funded scientists, innovative graduate medical education programs, cutting-edge Center for Medical Simulation and Innovative Education, and Florida's only accredited pediatric biorepository.


    The pediatric rheumatology program at JHACH provides the full spectrum of diagnoses and treatment for children of all ages with rheumatic diseases.

    The rheumatology team includes five board certified pediatric rheumatologists, two rheumatology nurse practitioners, a clinical nurse specialist and a fully supportive nursing and office staff.

    The Division provides consultative clinical care for a robust inpatient service as well as outpatient clinics. The pediatric rheumatologists collaborate with other pediatric specialists at JHACH, to provide multidisciplinary care for our patients. The Division members are involved in clinical research including CARRA registry, sponsored drug trials and investigator- initiated research. The Division has dedicated Bed-Side Ultrasound and therapeutic joint injections programs. We provide rheumatology education through elective rotations to pediatric residents and adult rheumatology fellows.

    The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinician/academician who is interested in incorporating both into their practice. Leadership experience as a Section or Division Chief and a strong background in academic medicine is desired. The individual should be interested and possess the skills to develop and mentor divisional faculty members.

    Qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (academic rank is open and commensurate with experience).
