- The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of complex litigation experience.
- Associates must have experience drafting complaints, answers, motions, and other pleadings.
- Candidates must have experience participating in the development of a strategy for written and deposition discovery.
- Associates should have the ability to handle sensitive matters on a confidential basis.
- Applicants must have the ability to distil research into meaningful and persuasive written work product.
- Associates must have exceptional communication, analytical, and written advocacy skills and have strong academic credentials.
- Mediation and other arbitration experience is preferred.
- Significant courtroom experience is highly beneficial.
- Judicial or Federal clerkship is a plus.
- Handle litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision.
- Drafting complex pleadings and motions and arguing discovery and dispositive motions.
- Formulating and developing case strategies.
- Advising clients on risk mitigation and pre-suit resolution options.
- Conducting research, interviewing clients, and witnesses.
- Handling other details for comprehensive case management.
- Managing the discovery process.
- Attending legal proceedings, such as motion hearings, evidentiary hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Supervising junior attorneys and staff members with document review projects.
