    STATEMENT OF JOB:
    The Transportation Concierge will provide safe transportation services to residents of the community.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Policies/Procedures/AdministrationProvide van transportation to the residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips sponsored through the activity departmentAssist in developing routes and schedules based on resident needs and requestsKeep appropriate records.

    Maintain mileage log, repair log, trip and expenses as requiredKeep receipts for expenses and submit them to Life Enrichment DirectorKeep van clean inside and out.

    Ensure routine maintenance and needed repairs are performed in a timely mannerReport any accidents/incidents to supervisor and Harmony Senior Services immediatelyMaintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the departmentAttends all required in-services and staff meetingsCompletes all other duties as assignedResidents:Assists residents on and off of the vanEnsures of resident safety at all timesFollows confidentiality policies at all times regarding release of resident informationStaff:Assists Activities/Programming Department with activities as assignedAssists Activities/Programming Department with activities as assignedRequirementRequirements:Must have a High School Diploma or GEDMust have a safe driving record and provide a copy of DMV record to Executive DirectorMust have current driver's license designated to permit operating the type of vehicle used by the communityMust be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, co-workers and supervisorMust be organized and willing to work with others as part of a teamMust be physically and mentally capable of performing job dutiesMust be able to ascend and descend stairs frequently, operate a wheelchair lift, and push a resident in a wheelchairMust be able to represent the residence in a professional manner with neat dress and courteous manner.

    May be required to wear designated uniformMust be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekend and evening hoursMust be able to lift 50 lbs.
